Hi all,
The snow has continued to fall all day long, making for a gorgeous day. It has been a busy one also. We watched a friend finish in a series of bike races, and we took Henry to watch the ceremonial start of the Iditarod races. Went out for a delicious lunch, got together with family for dinner, and played so hard that the wee boy went to bed quite late. He was exhausted, but so incredibly happy and I'm always amazed at how good of a mood he can stay in while tired. I imagine this will change sometime in his toddlerhood, but a girl can dream, that it would stay this way always.
I'll share more pictures of our day later, but here are a few shots from lunch. When we were done eating, the boys stood at the window staring at this gorgeous dog. It was unbelievable, the dog's owners led it to the window and went inside for lunch and the dog didn't move an inch. It wasn't tied up, it just sat there happily and waited, and Henry and his friend Brody loved it so much. Finn would have been out of there in a split second if we had tried that. I love how the boys looked from the other side of the window. Such sweethearts!
And a little video of our friend in the yard this morning... He was bedded down resting below our deck, then hopped up to roam a bit. I feel like we are 13 years old when I listen to this video because we are laughing about him peeing, but oh well.
